The Opua sailed from New Plymouth tor Greymouth yesterday. j The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Kia Ora arrived at Wellington on Monday fronjh,Montreal via Panama and Auckland. The Kia Ora will leave Wellington on Sunday week to load at New Plymouth and Wanganui roadsteads, returning to Wellington to fill up and sail on the 29th instant for London, via Panama.

The Waiotapu, from 'Frisco, via New Zealand ports, will leave Wellington at noon to-morrow for New Plymouth, arriving there on Friday morning. The Waiotapu's cargo, for that port comprises 15,000 cases of benzine, etc., 115,537 feet of timber, and 400 tons of genera.' cargo. The Kamo leaves Greymouth to-mor-row for New Plymouth, via Wellington and Picton. Greymouth she brings 500 tons of coal for New Plymouth, ' and at Wellington and Picton she will pick up general cargo and chaff. Her arrival date at New Plymouth is uncertain-

Murray, Roberts and Co. advise that the steamer Canadian Planter is to leave Melbourne within a day or two for Auckland, Wellington and Lyttelton to discharge cargo from St. John and to load general cargo for Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Montreal. The vessel is due a^ Auckland about next Tuesday and at Wellington a week later. •
