- He is a mean person who will break into a school and deprive the children of their -be.ongmgs. Occasionally it so happens that the school is entered and cocoa, paints, etc., are taken, and it is strange to note that the contents are found spilt on the Oeo Road. It seems as though somebody is trying to be mischievous or trying to annoy the school teachers or perhaps the school committee. If that is the case, it is to be hoped the intruder will be caught in one. of hig visits and be made an example of. Last Saturday evening was the final meeting of the Oeo Sports Club. Mr W. Hughes presided over an attendance of about thirteen. The balancesheet of both the ladies' and gent's committees were read, showing a credit of £50, which will be handed over to the hall committee, to, add to their sum, which is out at interest to help to meet the mortgage ori the hall when due. The recent ball was an expensve one fpr so small a committee to undertake, and they had the misfortune to meet with a rough night, which left the committee in debt, slf the debt is met by the basket social, and results in a surplus, I feel sure the boys will place the funds to a deserving cause, as was done some ; years back. -'..-'.
