Two' well-known coastal steamers, the Kiama and the Kintore, are many hours overdue, to Sydney, and in View of the heavy weather fears ior their safety are entertained. The Naval Department has despatched a steamer to search. : y/ The storm has blown put and the sea is calming. The steamers Kiama" and Kintore, after a rough night, reached port safely. They sustained slight damage. .Considerable damage was caused un the country by floods, which 'are now subsiding.
