KEEN COMPETITION
FOR WEST AUSTRALIAN WOOL
BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT
(Received May 10, 11.10 a.m.) LONDON, May 9. At the free wool sale there was a good selection mostly of West Australian, which was keenly competed for by the Continent, especially for finer sorts which were slightly above last week's rates. Medium to lower sorts met with good demand from Yorkshire. Croaj breds were unchanged. Practically the whole catalogue was cleared.
