VERY COLD NIGHT EXPECTED
The Government Meteorologist telegraphed to-day: Southerly winds. mod_ crate to strong prevailing. Weather probably cool and changeable. The night will probably be very cold, with frosts inland. Barometer rising; sea considerable, tides good swell.
