Viceroy a chance, has given notice of a resolution which he propo-es to move at the next sess.on of the Council of State: "That the conference attended by a member oif the Government and representatives of all sohoote qf political thought, including th* leader of the non-co-operation movement, should be convened at- an early date, under the presidency of the Viceroy, with a view to a free discussion of political questions, and that no resolutions be adopted by the conference i and no minutes be keot."
