Cheese: Coloured Is higherOast quotation £8 per cwt.); market firm. Frzoen mutton : L 7Jd to Bjd "perlb (last quotation 7£d to Bid). Frozen lamb, Is 2d per lb. The Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice from itsLondon office, under date 4th inst.:— Public sales of tallow have been resumed. There is a moderate demand at the following quotations: GoodT^ mixed 33s 6d per cwt., fine mutton 35sto'36s per cwt. good mutton 33s to 34e good and fine beef 32s to 355. gut 245. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd. report having received the following cablegram from their London house, underdate of the 4th inst.:—Tallow': 252& casks were offered and 1550 were sold. Competition fair, but since our last wire prices are unchanged- except forgood .colour mixed,. vhicbT Wa« 6d to Is higher.' Mutton 365, good 33s to--345, good mixed 33s to 33 S 6d, low and inferior descriptions 24s to 265. The market is decidedly firmer. Do\ not expect any important change im prices in the immediate future but. prices may improve somewhat later on.-
