{Received May 6, L?: 30 p.m.) LONDON. May 5. &.\j the free wool sale thrre was a ;good selection of merinos, particularly 'Queensland and Adelaide. The former ;sold very well to Germany and France at about 10 per cent above the opening rates. Adelaide was taken by Yorkshire buyers at 5 per cent above the opening rates. Other merinos and •crossbreds are firm and unchanged. Practically the whole catalogue was :sold. - Bradford topmakers are adopting a firmer attitude, but there is not much business. Sixty-fours 39d, forty«ixes 36d, fifties 28d, forty-sixes Ud.
