SCHOOL FOOTBALL.
(From our Eltham Correspondent.) A match, between Eltham IV. and the Stratford High School took place at Taumata Park yesterday. The game was fairly even, but the& Stratford boys, who were much lighter than their opponents, had a much better, understanding of each other's play, 1 and won by 10 points to 3. Allen (who played a fine game) scored two tries for "Stratford and converted one, Dcs , Forges adding the major points to the! other. Coulter, for Eltham, scored a try, galloping the whole length of the ground. For Stratford Allen, Dcs Forges and the Hinto brothers played well, whilst Cruden and King were prominent for Eltham. Mr Nuttall con- j trolled the game. - | Hawera Technical School B. team played Eltham School A. team, Eltham winning by 8 points. Hawera' Technical jSchool C. team played Eltham School ±5. team, a drawn , game, 3 points each, resulting.
