The Hawera Defence Rifle Club will ■nold a competition on Saturday nextranges 300, 500 and 600 yards, handii caps to he declared on the ran<*e • prizes, Ist, 2nd and 3rd, trophies A teams match will also be held in conjunction with the above in order to select two teams of five men each to represent the clnb at the North Island championship meeting to be held at Wanganm on the 27th and 28th inst., and also the Wellington Rifle Association meeting, to be held at Trentham on December 31 and January 1
