BRITISH WOOL MARKET
YORKSHIRE CRITICISES AUSTRALIA'S ATTITUDE.
BY CABL3--rBESB ASSQCIATIOtf-COPYfIIGHT (Received Dec. 15, 9.15 a.m ) LONDON, Dec. 14. lorksnire newspapers continue to fiercely criticise the wool realisation proposal. l The Yorkshire Post says: "The Australian suggestion to have sold back | 2,000,000 bales at a considerably lower price than paid to them, in order solely tor their own interests to attempt to corner the wool market, is regarded ! as anything hut a modest proposal. Woo] traders here hope that in the future our wool and textile industries I will not be jeopardised merely to enable the wool growers in Australia to maintain the price of their raw material on a preferential basis, compared with values at other sources of production. The Australians have sold their wool and must abide by their contract."
