(BY TELEGRAPH PRKBf» ASSOCIATION.I CHRISTCHUROH, Dec. 14. A statement relative to the supply of Hour was made by Mr. W. G. Mac<lonald, Government Wheat Controller, to-day. Mr. Macdpnald said the latest figures relating to wheat snowed that this year the millers had bought U,824,000 bushels of wheat grown in i;he Dominion; Australia had supplied 1,858,000 bushels, and there was a carryover from last year of 519,000 bushels. This represented 6,202,000 bushels -available for gristing;, irrespective of the quantities for seed and fowl wheat. The consumption represented an equivalent of 500,000 bushels per month, or a total for the year of 6,000,000 bushels. The distribution of stocks over the Dominion is fairly even, so there should be sufficient' flour to last until the end I of February. The prospects were for an early harvest.
