OPERA HOUSE, HAWERA—WED-

NESDAY

To-morrow evening a big double star programme will be screened at the Opera House. Jane* and Katherine Lee, the Comedy Imps, will provide laughter and good feeling for everyone in Hawera during the screening of the famous picture "Smiles." These little favorites are placed in the parcel post, and start off alone on an impromptu flight by aeroplane. Innocent nrurth galore packs the play. This picture will be the matinee picture for Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The other feature is "The Courageous Coward," starring ih.e noted Japanese actor Sessue Hayakawa and his wife. Hayakawa appears as a young lawyer, while his_ wife takes the appealing role of Rei, a girl from Japan, who cannot understand American ways. This picture has a happy ending. Seats may be reserved at the Opera House.
