PONSONBY MURDER CASE

WELLINGTON, June 15. The Ponsonby murder case and the sentence passed upon / De-mis Gunn were considered at a meeting of the Executive Council this morning, His Excellency the Governor-General presiding. It was** afterwards announced that His Excellency, acting on and with the advice of his Ministers, sees no reasons why the decision of the Court should be interfered with.
