AMERICAN WARDING TO TURKEY
CAUSES IRRITATION WITH FRANCE.

WASHINGTON, Aug. 27. An informal warning given by RearAdmiral Drisiel to Turkey forbidding the Armenian massacres, has led to irritation with ike French Foreign Office, ■which is critical of American interference.£brough missionaries, although the United States has refused to aceeptj so far. mandatories for any of the subject nationalities in Asia Minor.
