WAIMATE TROTTING CLUB
ANNUAL REPORT
The report to be presented at the annual meeting of the Waimate Plains Trotting Club to-morrow".night, says, inter alia: The year's operations resulted in a nett profit of £402 7s Bd, which, in view of increased cost in all directions, is considered satisfactory. The fifth meeting, held last Easter Monday, was highly successful, and the club's popularity fully maintained. The totalisator turnover- was £18,412, •' being -?1328 in-excess of last year's figures? The stakes given were £1180, an increase of £265. It is with deep regret we have to record the death, of our late and esteemed secretary, Mr G. A. Holder. Your committee"takes this opportunity of expressing its high appreciation of the valuable services rendered by the lat** Mr Holder.
