The Government meteorologist telegraphs as follows:
The indications are for variable and strong breezes northerly, moderate tp strong prevailing; veering by north to east and freshening; expect dull wea^ ther -with much mist and fog in parts, wis hscattered rain probable; the barometer has a falling tendency; sea moderate: tides poor.
