MEN REJECT PROPOSALS..
(BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, June 13. The Herald's Huntly correspondent telegraphs that a mass meeting of miners was held at Pukemiro to-day, when the company's proposals were rejected, The opinion was expressed J;hat in view of the projected working of the State mine in the vicinity the Government sho .'ld take over and work the Pukemiro mine. There are indications that further negotiations are useless, and that the dispute will go into the hands of the Federation of Labor. The Conciliation Commissioner is still at Huntly.
