AUSTRALIAN LABOR.
SYDNEY, June 12. The Labor Conference discussed a proposal for a new platform, which it was decided shall be limited to twelve £lanks, including abolition of the .egislative Council; substitution of the initiative and referendum, and recall ; abolition of State Governor; full citizen rights for women, adequate provision for returned soldiers, industrial and military, and their dependents ; and the establishment of the iron and steel industry by State or Commonwealth Governments.
