Myers stated;,; with (reference to the complaint that rice had been shut out of steamers trading from Australia to New Zealand, that the last three boats trroin Sydney had brought over 2000 bags of rice. For'instance, this month he requested agents at Sydney and Melbourne to "favorably regard applications for space for 'superphosphates, potatoes, onions, pollard and lines of Beed grain.
