At Opunake on Monday we had a good yarding of both store and dairy cattle, which were disposed of at good prices. The weather was bitterly cold, and the attendance was nob very big. At Manaia on Tuesday we had a good yarding and prices were on a par with recent, sales. Forward cows £8 10s to £"10, store cows £5 lys to £8 os 3 pi»s £1 IS.-S, dairy heifers £9 5s to £10 15s, backward sorts £6 10s to £8 10s, weaner heifers £3 to £3 10s 6d. Immediately after this sale we 'held a clearing sa.l'e for Mr Martin Harrington. His furniture and sundries sold exceptionally well.

On Friday, at Palmer road, we had a fair yarding of store cattle and a big yarding of dairy cows and heifers.
