FARMERS' CO-OP. ORGANISATION SOCIETY'S REPORT.

At Okaiawa yards, on Monday, we held our usual fortnightly sale. There was only a small yarding of cattle, and prices were the same as. late • sales. Dairy cows sold to £16 10s, store cows £6 to £7 15s, weaner heifers £1 Is to £3 2s 6d, yearling Holstein bulls £6. On Monday we held a clearing sale of Mr H. P. Dornauf's (Hawera) live and dead stock. There was a good, muster of buyers, and everything sold at ruling rates. The dairy cows were in poor condition, and sold at from £9 15s to £18, bulls £13, weaners 22s 6d, horses £16 to £21. The sundries also sold at ruling rates. At Normanby, on Tuesday, we held a clearing sale of Mr W. Treanor's live and dead stock. There was a'good attendance of buyers, and a most successful sale was held. The beet dairy cows sold at from £18 10s to £25 os, others £12 to £18, empty cows £7 15s to £10 15s, averaging £16 4s, store pigs £2 6s 6d to £2 15s. The farm implements and sundries also sold well.

On Wednesday, at Eltham, we held I our usual sale. There was a good yarding of cattle, and prices were well up I to late sales. We quote: Forward bullocks £13 16s, forward cows £8 10s to £9 ss, store cows £6 5s to £8 ss, boners £3 10s to £6, good weaners (steers) £4 15s to £5 13s, others £2 15s to £4 10s, weaner heifers £2 3s to £5 13s, lambs 225, dairy cows £7 to £14, store pigs £1 10s to £2, sows £5 10s to £6 ss. At Hawera sale, on Thursday, we had a full yarding of cattle of all descriptions, and also a good muster of sheep. Competition was good for store cattle and weaners; dairy cows and heifers were hard to quit" Sheep sold at late rates. At Waverley yards, on Friday, we held our usual fortnightly sale. There was an average yarding of cattle and sheep, which sold at late rates. Store lambs 17s 9d to 235, ewes in lamh 21s 3d to 255, forward cows £8 5s to £9, store cows. £6 to £8, weaner calves £3 store steers £8 9s, horses £10 to £19 10s. A lot of sundries sold at ruling rates. | On Friday w e held a clearing sale of Messrs Startup Bros.' dairy cows, etc. There was a good attendance of buyers and a successful sale was held. The best dairy cows sold at from £15 10s to £20 others £9 to £15, bull 27£ guineas, heifers £10 10s to £12 ss, milk cans 29s to £2 ss. At Tnglewood on Friday we held a clearing sale of Mr A. Ladng's live and dead stock. There was a good attendance of buyers and a satisfactory sale i resulted.
