SURPLUS PROFITS QUESTION.
FRESH IMPERIAL PROPOSALS DISCUSSED.

Guthrie, Minister in charge of Imperial Supplies, .met the Wool Committee and considered the suggestions r.oceived from the Imperial p.uthoritic-s, through Mi- Massey, as to the basis of calculation of profits that jMfiy accrue from next season's sale of .New Zealand wool in England. i The proposal is that half profits should lio calculated as for Australia and New Zealand combined, and di-: vision of the total made on a pro rata "basis.
