ANTI-GERMANISM IN UKRAINE.
AGITATION TO RESTORE EMPIRE
AMSTERDAM, Aug. 1. Germany is taking vigorous steps to stamp out Ukrainian risings. A great congress was held secretly at Kieff with the object of restoring the Russian Empire. It was resolved to organise an agitation in all Ukrainian centres and enter into negotiations with the Grand Duke Nicholas.—Times Service.
Germany is contemplating recalling you Munn and handing passports to the Ukrainian Ambassador at Berlin until the situation at Kieff is cleared up.
Yon Hintze, in a lengthy interview with the Ukrainian and Austrian Ambassadors on Wednesday, said probably General Falkenhausen would succeed the late General yon Eiehorn.

The Bolsheviki at Moscow resolved that the Socialists of the Fatherland were endangered, and that the chief task at present was to repulse the Czecho-Slovaks and obtain grain. The working classes must be roused and armed, and wholesale terrorism must be practised against the bourgeoisie.— Reuter.
