TWO GERMAN OFFICERS
ASSASSINATED
DEED IMPUTED TO SOCIAL
REVOLUTIONARIES

AMSTERDAM, July 31
An. official report from Kit if via Berlin states that General von Eichorn, German dictator in tho Ukraine, was * returning to his house in the afternoon with his adjutant, Captain von Dressier, when some men drove closely past in a cab and threw a bond). Both officers were seriously wounded, and subsequently died.
The assassin and cab-driver were arrested, and enquiry e-.tablished that the crime originated with the Social Revolutionaries at Moscow.-—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
