A BIG BANKRUPTCY

CHRISTCHURCH, July 10. An approximate statement in the bankrupt estate of Alfred E. Craddock, auctioneer and land agent, was filed to-day. The unsecured creditors were shown .at £17,084, and the secured creditors at £3972, a total of £21,056. The securities were estimated to be worth £4500, leaving a surplus under the secured debts head of £528. The unsecured creditors included: J. Ballantyne and Co. £255. Mrs J. Oliver £3200, "Rev. W. Oliver' £900, W. J. Roberts £7100, Mrs Otway £300, Yorke's estate £400, Quinn's estate £800. French's' estate £750, A.. J. Hutchinson £1700, Booker's estate £400, A. M. Dumbell £224, W. D. Dumbell £266, and Miss Wallace £354.
