THE AVORLD'S
An excellent programme was presented at the World's last evening, and it was thoroughly appreciated. The big attraction of the evening was the drama "The Ten O'clock Mystery," a capital story of a detective's adventures. It was full of thrilling incidents, and greatly interested the audience. Another drama, somewhat out of the ordinary, was "The Isle of Abandoned Hope," dealing with the adventures of the survivors of the ship Bainbridge, which was wrecked off the Sandwich Islands. A feature of the picture was the beautiful scenery. The sixth episode of the circus serial "Peg o' the Ring" attracted more than usual interest, showing as it did the exciting adventures of Peg and Hugo. The other pictures included topical and comedy films of particular merit. The programme will be repeated to-night.
