Kenrick, S.M., George Jackson was charged that at Raumai, on June 29, he did kill Thomas Claud trammer Jackson by stabbing him with a knife. + i_Ex ri:\ ence T w, as Siven to the effect that the Jackson family and three friends were at dinner "when a knock was heard at the door. Tom came round the corner of the table, and struck his father, the latter falling to the floor, lorn was making a further attempt to hit his father when pulled aside. The boy then went outside. He was carried m and put to bed. Tom was taken to a Palmerston private hosnital, where he died next morning. Jackson who reserved his defence, was committed for trial.
