OPTIMISTIC REPORT TO REICHSTAG.

AMSTERDAM, July 8
Yon Boekir, president of the War Supplies Department, informed the Reichstag Committee that while June and July were the most critical months the danger of a reduced bread rajtion was past, and ho was hopeful of being able to increase it early in August, when meat rations w>uld be reduced in order to conserve mi?.-ch cows. Prospects for the potato crop were better than in 1916.
