REPORTS ON MILITARY OPERATIONS.
(Australian-N.Z. C.A. and Reuter.) LONDON, July 7. A wireless German official report states: An artillery battle developed between Zborow and Brzezany, and was also lively at Zwyzyn, Brody and Smorgon. Roumanian preparations to attack southward of Casinu Valley were dispersed under fire. The enemy is restless in the region of the Danube. LONDON, July 8. A wireless German official message states: The French attacked Cornillet as far as Hochberg, south-eastward of Naroy. The attack was repulsed. The enemy twice penetrated parts of our ■ line of trenches at Hochberg, but counter-attacks drove the invaders out. There is lively aerial activity. Three enemy aeroplanes have been brought down. The Russian attacks at Koniuchy all broke down heavily, enemy armored motor cars being shot to pieces. Enemy attacks northward of Miloczow-Tarno-pol railway at Batkow, Zwtwzyd, Blzezank, and Stunislau, points in the Carpathians foreland, failed.
