GERMANS MOVING CIVILIANS
SUPPOSED INDICATION OF FUR-, THER RETIREMENT. (Received May 25, 1.5 p.m.) AMSTERDAM, May 24. A Maastricht newspaper states that the Germans have removed the civil population of Liege to Antwerp, but "their reasons are unknown. Measures are also in readiness to remove civilians en masse from the Ghent and 'Tournai region. It is believed that the Germans are preparing for a further retirement.
