MESOPOTAMIAN ENQUIRY COMMISSION CRITICISED.
LONDON, Oct. 23. The Daily Mail states that the Commission to enquire into scandals! connected with the Mesopotamia campaign is doing its work in a very peculiar manner, and there is a. growing fear that it may issue a white-washing report.
The Daily Mail demands-that the Commission should take the evidence of Sir O'Moore Creagh, who, while Commander-in-Chief in India, made niany recommendations, which, if carried out, would have prevented, disaster. • >
