On Saturday, October 14, we held a horse sale at th.c Mav.ara Horse Bazaar, when we yarded over one hundred and fifty horses of. aii descriptions, and report a most successful sale. Heavy draught horses (unbroken) sold at from £20 to £81, medium do. £15 to £20, light horses £5 to £15, young broken heavy dnuiguts .£27 to £38 IDs, aged sorts £15 to £25, miik carters £17 to' £24, light harness horses £10 to £15, hacks £5 to £14, weeds. 10a upwards.

At OpunaKe on- Monday, 16th inst., we held our usual fortnightly sale and bull fair. On Wednesday, 18th inst., at Inglewood yards, we held our usual sale. There was a good yarding of cattle and a large attendance of buyers. Competition' was keen, and, with few exceptions, the whole yarding was sold at satisfactory prices. At Auroa yards on Friday there was a' full yarding of stock arid a strong demand for all classes, and the whole yarding was sold at high rates.
