ATHENS. Oct. 22. The French military Attache has presented to the King' the .Allies' demands, which include the transfer of the entire Greek force from Thessaly to Peloponnestis and the delivery of the Thessaliaii stores to the allies. A later message states: -We learn on the most reliable authority that King Constantine has expressed his readiness to consent to any measures for ensuring the protection of General Sarrail's rear, but it was pointed out that the tiansfer of the Thessaly force to Peloponnesus was unnecessary for the protection of the Allied forces concerned. His Majesty, therefore, could not understand the motives for the demand, but if these were explained he would give them his beat attention: ATHENS, Oct. 23. The Government has "-hargetj the army with the maintenances cf order, responsibility beinjr transferred from the Minister of the Interior to the Minister of War. The measure has produced a deplorable impression, and in Entente circles it is regarded as an attempt of the Government to indirectly violate the undertaking made to the Allies to control the police. SALONIKA. Oct. 22. The National Government's army already numbers1 three divisions, while hundreds are ,daily enrolling.
