A PRICELESS CONFESSION.

COMMENT ON YON ARNIM'S REPORT,

GERMAN ARMY WEARING OUT

Colonel Repington says: Yon Arnim's memorandum i shows that the German army! is reduced to the defensive, being greatly bedraggled, and is mainly^ occupied with escaping from British blows. It was not meant for the world's eyes, and least of all at the pre-, sent hour. Before seeing the report we were ignorant of the particular direction in which we were hurting the Germans most, but now we know, for his admissions show thaC the German army is wearing out under the constant strain and steady exhaustion of man power and material. It is a priceless confession that proves the Allies have adopted the best strategy and tactics to sicken the Germans of their war and to tame them.
