MR ALFRED BARNS
The death occurred at Taihape on Saturday of Mr Alfred- Barns,, brother of Mrs Tl. J. C. Goutts and Mrs W. D. Powdrell, as the result of heart failure following on an attack of influenza and pneumonia. At the time of his death he was farming in that district. He had been illonlv a week. Mr Barns was at one time manager of the Bank of IS ew Zealand at Hunterville. After leaving that service he joined Abraham and Williams, Ltd.., and was managing for that firm at Taihape. He was unmarried.
