SYDNEY. Sept. 4. Anti-recruiting pamphlets are being circulated in some country districts. On© examined, entitled "No wars," was unmistakeably of German origin, and was designed to convince the reader that the Allies were fighting on the side of capitalism and rivetting th© shackles on unborn generations.
j pamphlet was widely circulated, ana that- it is accomplishing its object w^evidenced by the frequence with which its doctrines are advocated in camps and shearing sheds. Two hundred and fifty munition workers are availing themselves of the Vickers' Co. offer. _ PERTH, Sept. 4. , lne Munitions Committee proposes to establish a central workshop with thirty lathes in the city. - It is estimated that a further sixty lathes will be operating in private shops. It is stated that plant capable of turning out live hundred shells in sixty hours is purchaseable for £5000, and that a suppry of steel and copper bands is assured. . FREMANTLE, Sept. 4.
