MARRIED MEN'S PAY INCREASED
By TELEGRAPH —PEESS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON, May 27. The Government has decided to pay married privates and non-commissioned officers of the New Zealand Expeditionary Forces a, separation allowance of Is per ..day for seven days in the week. This extra ls per day is to be payable to the wives of the N.C.O.'s and'privates of the Main Expeditionary Force and all subsequent reinforcements. .Payment will commence from the Ist of June, 1915, for those already in the forces on that date, and from the date of the enlistment for others. This means that married men in the rank and file will receive 6s a day instead of 5s as previously.
