OUR WOUNDED AT MALTA.

"WELLINGTON, May 27. The Hon. Jas. Allen has cabled to Malta and Egypt asking the authorities* there to cable at once details regarding, the wounded New Zealanders in both, places. He has been advised that five wounded officers and 296 wounded New Zealanders are in the Malta Hospital. He has also issued a statement giving a definition of the expressions used iii the casualty lists relating to slight, serious, and dangerous wounds.
