EDUCATION COMMISSION.
EVIDENCE AT NAPIER
BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION. . NAPIER, May 27. The Education Boundaries Commission sat at Napier to-day. The chairman of the Hawke's Bay Education Board gave_ evidence that' the difficulties of administering the northern ba*f of the district would increase if the administration was conducted from a centre other than Napier.- The railway extension now in hand would assist- to make the control better for the Nanier Board. He considered that the Hawke's Bay district could be enlarged with satisfactory results—namely, by the inclusion of Opotiki, Whakatane and Akitio. The Commission adjourned and will leave for Wellington to-morrow,, and give its decision there.
