Sir, —"Let us all bo there to give the boys a good send-of," were the words used by our worthy Mayor at the patriotic meeting held in the Opera House on Friday evening lust. Would it be a^ ting too much for the' Tradesmen's Association to close the shops for, say, half an hour on the morning of Friday, the 28th inst., so as to enable all the employees the opportunity to say farewell to their friends? Then. I'think, it would be giving them a right royal send-off, which they certainly deserve.
