Merinos /good to medium, and scoureds, were nve per cent, above the April best, and greasy combing par too five per cent advance, average faulty sorts at par. Crossbreas, fine, were very firm at April rates and medium and coarser recovered the early decline, and at the close were equal to April. Good clipes were unchanged, wasty par to five per cent, lower. Best scoureds showed par to five per cent, advance. Faulty and hurry hne were 1\ lower, and best lambs firm and unchanged. Faulty merinos were firm at 1\ per cent, decline.

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., have revived the following cablegram from tiieir London office:—Wool sales closed. Market active. As compared with 31st March merino very firm except faulty, 10 per cent, lower. Crossbred scoured and greasy unchanged. Market weaker for slipe.
