MAORI AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE BAND.

The Maori Agricultural College Band rave an entertainment in the Opera 'House last night before an appreciative audience. The selections of the band en the whole were good, while" the glee club's numbers were effectively given. Encores were repeatedly demanded, but the management announced that owing to the long program c every recall could not be acceded to. Many Maoris were present and appeared' to thoroughly enjoy the entertainment.

All proceeds of these entertainments are,, after the payment of bare expenses, handed to the fund for the relief of the Belgian sufferers by the war, and to the Maori contingent which is entering the service of the Empire in the present struggle in Europe.
