PATRIOTIC FUND.

The N.Z L. and A.M.A. Coy., Ltd, an The Farmer's Co-operative" Society or N.Z. Limited, announce that they intend holing a special gift sale of stock, etc, on Saturday 22nd inst. at Hawera, the gross proceeds of which are to be devoted to the patriotic fund. Supporters of the movement are requested to notify the auctioneers promptly as to the nature of their contributions. Everything will 'be sold without reserve and clear of all expenses, such as advertisng, commission, etc. Contributions in connections with this most laudable effort will be acknowledged through the Star, as received.
