CANADA'S GREAT GIFT.
LONDON, Aug. 10. Canada's first wheat instalment will be sent in a few days. Mr Harcourt says: "We accept the offer with deep gratitude. The gift will help in steadying prices, and relieve distress. We shall not forget the promptitude of Canada's generosity."
