WELLINGTON, July 6. It is understood that the Northern Steamship Conpa iy has practically completed negotiations for the purchase of the steamer Arapawa from Mr J. H. Williams, and it is probable that she will be transferred to the Wanga-nui-Opunake-Waitara run, replacing the Rimu, which msv 1,« used to inaugurate a service of weekly trips between Hokianga, Onoh.m^a, Raglan and Kawhia.
