Many residents in this district will regret to hear of the death of Mr George Lander, a well-known, and highly respected settler of Mokoia.. Deceased , who was 44 years of age, had only been ill for a short time with influenza and was brought to a private hospital in "Hawera. He married Miss Gotten, formerly of Hawera. ancl for her and her four young children much sympathy will be felt. Tha late Mr Landertook an active interest ix-. Presbyterian Churc-i matter*.
