CREW'S FATE A MYSTERY

HALIFAX (N.S.), May 4. An unidentified steamer is reported by the steamer Zeidlitz to be on fire three hundred miles south of Cape Race. The Zeidlitz was unable to identify her. owing to thick smoke. No sign of life is discoverable.
Later
The Zeidlitz called other liners by wireless, the Sachem,, Branderburg, Olympia and Franconia responding. Not a trace of the ship's boats has been found, and the fate of the crew is a myster"
