at TELEGBAPH—FBESS ASSOCIATION. J AUCKLAND, March 15. Messrs J .Korby, D. M. Parry, and ©r A. A. Snowden, American Trade Commissioners, arrived from Sydney to-day by the Riverina. The Commission is spending three or, four months in investigating commer-i cial and industrial conditions in Australasia with a view to promoting ■closer business relations between Ausiaralia and the United States. It is also examining Australian legislation affecting commerce and industry Trith the idea of advocating the adoption of such laws as would seem advantageous to American industry. The Commission has been sent out T>y the National Association of Manufacturers, which is a very powerful organisation, the tnembers of which employ over five million: workers.
