At the Opera House to-night choice selections of new films will be exhibited. In "The Curse of the Golden Land," a Russian peasant leaves his wife and son in Russia and! goes to America, where he joins a big business. Many years pass, in which the wife is forgotten in the glow of success, and the peasant, now well to do, is about to propose to his employer's daughter when he comes face to face with his wife and son; who had left their native -land to seek .out a husband and father. This is the chief film and everything ends happily.
